features are still available, but in more logical areas. With the latest

Locked Viewport
Locking the image when in Desktop mode will allow you to monitor what goes on
in that area of the screen. To lock the image, simply press "L" when the
application has focus (if you are trying to zoom in to an area of a notepad
document, and attempts to lock the viewport result in typed letter L's in your
notepad document, simply Alt+Tab until the Zoom Tool is the active program, lock
the viewport and then return to the notepad program).
For an example, I locked the viewport on an area of Winamp while I was
playing some music.

This functionality is similar to Freezing the viewport. When the
viewport is frozen, it will not update again until it has been unfrozen.
This is helpful whenever you need to get a snapshot of an active graphic.
Color Grab Functionality

This allows you to grab colors from anywhere and gives you the ability to
paste the color in a variety of formats. The formats currently include: HTML ("#RRGGBB"), RGB ("255, 255, 255"), RGB
("100%, 100%, 100%"), CSV of RGB ("R=x,G=y,B=z"), Photoshop ("RRGGBB"), C++
("0xBBGGRR"), Microsoft Access ("&HBBGGRR"), VB ("&H00BBGGRR"), Delphi
("$00BBGGRR"), single pixel bitmap of the color, 32x32 pixel bitmap of the color.
Comparing Images

The Zoom Tool can be extremely useful in comparing the details of more than
one image. The history list maintains each image's zoom percent as
well as the scrolled to position. This is a useful feature when you need
to compare the fine detail in more than one image.
Keyboard Shortcuts

No professional tool is complete without some keyboard shortcuts.
